Good Mews......

Last night, Annabelle gave birth starting at 1 a.m. and ending today at 2. She had 5 as of around 7 and then around 2 had one more. That one must have been asleep. SO 6 babies here in my room. She is a good mommy too. SHe is my pet and wants to be on my lap or close to me....so she comes to visit and shortly hears the babies mewing and off she goes. Then from the basket she looks at me like....well....are you coming?

Not much going on right now. I know it's been in the triple digit heat for over 16 days now and we are in a drought here in Texas. So hot, no rain, my yard is turning brown, no mowing needed, watering only the gardens to save my plants I have had so long. What a year. Heat is not good and dry is never good here. Fires are inevitable and scarey. I hope we all get thru this dry spell safely and the rains come soon. Did I hear them say no hurricanes yet this year? Really?

So everyone be careful in the heat, enjoy the summer vacation and your kids. My gks are ocming soon for a visit.

My skull surgery was July 6th and I am getting stitches out soon. I am so glad too. hat was two of those surgeries within two months. Ready to move on.
