More doodles

I came in tonight to look at the slide show of pictures and all the memories came back of the retreat. I love reliving it again and again. SO many friends and fun times. I called my mom today and she is doing fine. Says she is ready to come back to visit. She was here last friday thru monday, went with me to get my stitches out and then we swung by to get Haley and Katharine to go swimming at her house. After they swam we came home for the week. Mason stayed home to have alone time from the girls.

Katharine and Haley are learning to hand quilt and I gave them both a project to work on. They have been fun having them here. Not used to cooking such a large meal and the snacks seem to disappear. LOL. Growing teens. So Janae will pick them up Saturday.

The six kittens are doing well, eyes are opening slowly. Momma cat is a good mommy too. Now it seems for sure Bella is going to have a litter. Her belly is growing now too. Oh my. More kittens.

I am quilting the quilt for NP3 for her hubby. Almost done and should be able to mail it by monday. Then getting her and Gary a Don't mess with Texas shirt. She wanted them but could not find them on the way home.

Holly brought me a large tv yesterday so I could see it while I sew. She really takes care of her daddy and I. Janae take care of us too. She stayed with me at the hospital and I was not being so nice this time....the meds made me paranoid and no sleep. She was a sweetheart to put up wiht the momma bear. I am proud she is going to college and getting her degree while working full time. Not an easy thing to do.

Well, I found another quilting site today someone told me about. Apparently another new one as membership is low. Called "thequiltingspot.com" I signed up today. Will watch it grow too. Th quilting haven has almost 300 members now. In the last day I had 4 friends come and join us. I sent emails out. Of course they will check out the QB too. More places to visit. I spent more time on the boards this week with kids here. Can't concentrate on my quilting with so much going on.

Well, enough for tonight. Need to quilt some more. Katharine is sitting here sewing her quilt top while we watch tv. Hubby is in bed and Haley went to bed early too. Good night.
