I have been off my blog a few days. It's still in the triple digits here and so hot. August came in with a fiery. I posted my October 21,22,23 retreat at the Quilts Inn in Granbury, Texas again. SO far we have 6, need 6 more. The last retreat in May was a success so we are having another. Hopefully, we will fill this one too. Need at least the 10.
On www.quiltinghaven.com we made the 300 members by end of July and now we are up to 326 as of today. I also made Senior Member. No changes now until I reach 1500 posts and then it is another and final status. I have had 15-20 friends join there now too thanks to this blog and my emails. People not associated with the qb but quilters. Now if we all get to posting.
I joined a Secret Pal swap. Can't say who my partner is in case she comes here. LOL. And my pincushion swap pal is also someone I know. Both partners, I know.
Also found a small, new site called Thequiltingspot.com and joined. Haven't told anyone about this one. Someone told me about this site recently.
It is 2:30 am. I could not sleep so came in to post. I had forgotten my password and Craftybear had to remind me. So funny. SHe has it because we update my blog together. She is so smart when it comes to managing blogs. Lots to learn from her. And she calls to check in with me to offer her help. Thank you Craftybear. And thanks to my photo editor NP3.♥♥
